Dr. Andrea Lanphear, DVM, CVA, CVFT, CVSMT graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in Zoology in 1989. After graduation she returned to her hometown, Chicago, and worked in pharmaceutical sales. She moved back to Madison to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She received her veterinary acupuncture certification from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and has been studying under Dr. Jody Bearman ever since. She is also certified veterinary food therapist by the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Andrea lives in Madison with her husband and four dogs; chihuahua-corgi mix, Tenzin, mini rat terrier named Kiko, small mixed-breed dog named Porter, and terrier mix named Nigel. She and her family enjoy spending time up north in Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin where they built their own cabin with the help of many family and friends. She is very excited to assist in the healing of animals.
